The Ptuj wine cellar is home to the oldest spirits production in Slovenia, known for generations under the brand name Petovia.

The production of spirits began in 1873 with the establishment of the company Hutter & Elsbacher alcohol industry in Ptuj.
The long-standing tradition of crafting traditional spirit flavors has been passed down from generation to generation, preserving them to this day. Under the Petovia brand, we have been producing spirits according to traditional recipes for centuries, including Domači rum and Pelinkovec, as well as Hruškovec, Mentol, Encian, and Tavžentroža for several decades. These spirits are not only perfect for independent consumption but also excellent in cocktails.
